New Golden Gardens Direct bus will connect Ballard to the beach this summer

King County Metro is launching Golden Gardens Direct, a seasonal shuttle service running June 27 through August 30 between Ballard’s Market Street corridor and Golden Gardens Park. The bus will operate daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. every 30 minutes, with adult fares at $3 and free rides for youth 18 and under. The pilot aims to reduce driving and parking pressure at the popular waterfront park.
