ELECTION 2026: August 4 election ballots go out today

King County Elections mailed ballots today for the August 4 primary election. Maple Valley voters will see races including U.S. House District 7 (Rep. Pramila Jayapal vs. three challengers), King County Council District 8 (Teresa Mosqueda vs. two opponents), the Seattle Public Library levy renewal, and four State Supreme Court positions. Ballots must be returned by 8 p.m. August 4 via drop box or postmarked by that date if mailed.
