Ballard bus service proposals headed to voters this November

Seattle voters will see a transit funding measure on the November ballot that includes two amendments to improve bus service, particularly in Ballard. City Councilmember Dan Strauss proposed amendments prioritizing faster connections between Ballard, downtown, and light rail stations, and requiring 75% of funding go toward transit service. The Seattle City Council unanimously approved sending the measure to voters Tuesday.
