Two Local Museums Celebrate State Museum Day

Maple Valley’s museums—the Gibbon Store and fire engine building behind Community Center—will be open Saturday, August 8, for Washington State Museum Day, joining over 100 museums statewide celebrating America’s 250th anniversary. Maple Valley’s museums are normally open the first and third Saturday of each month from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, offering a chance to explore local history and culture.
