Community Uplifts Youth and Prevents Tragedy with I.A.M.U.
Independent Achievements for Minority Youth (I.A.M.U.), a nonprofit founded by Jada Jefferson, serves youth ages 8–24 across Pierce, Thurston, and King counties with programs addressing trauma, reentry support, and prevention education. The organization will host a youth talent show on December 19 at Highline College and operates a mobile drink cart business to fund its work while providing job training to program participants.
